Electrical Manufacturing Company situated i the East of JHB seeks a Production Foreman to join them on a 2 year FTC.

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

Matric
Relevant degree / diploma

Requirements

3 – 5 Years working experience in a electrical manufacturing environment
Moulding, press and assembly experience
Lean and six sigma within manufacturing
OSHA regulations knowledge
Frequent traveling to their plant in Africa

Duties

Oversee the production process, and schedule
Ensure a cost effective production
Resource management
Draft job timescale
Cost estimation and setting of quality standards
In conjunction with peers ensure machines and equipment are maintained.
Implement QC programmes
Liaise with different departments - procurement, maintenance, suppliers and tool room.
Ensure HSQ guidelines are followed
Staff supervision
Performance review
Ensure adherence to production plan
