Production Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client based in Germiston, requires a Production Manager to take charge of their aluminium / steel factory. We require your dedicated and enthusiastic personality to grow a team of driven workers to their full potential. If you have 5 - 6 years experience in a similar industry and position, then this could be your next career move.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric, own transport

Experience may include signage, shopfitting, sheet metal work or cupboard manufacturing

Excellent attention to detail

Trustworthy with high level of integrity

Good communication and able to liaise & communicate well with people on all levels

DUTIES

Overseeing a small branch consisting of six production staff, one sales rep and admin staff

Overseeing  daily factory operations

Planning and resolving production issues in a timely manner

Co-ordinate and direct staff regarding the activities that needs to be performed

Make optimum use of the equipment and available manpower to ensure better productivity

Ensure that all safety measures and company policies and procedures are adhered to

Quality check all final products to ensure free of defects and manufactured in accordance with the various Clients requirements

Manage any HR queries that may arise within the factory

Monitor stock levels to ensure all stock required is on hand

Manage invoicing

Co-ordinate sales representative and his duties

General administration duties

Liaising with Customers where needed

Salary: R20 – 25k CTC, dependent on experience
