Our client, a premium wood paneling, furniture and fittings manufacturer, based in Cape Town, seeks to employ a reliable, experienced and organized Production Foreman for their fast paced factory.

Please note that this role is geared toward candidates who have Production supervision experience in a CNC precision or Wood manufacturing environment, with preference to experience in wood manufacturing. We do require a physically and medically fit individual for this role, as the position does include heavy lifting on occasion, as well as long hours during peak periods.

You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.

• You will have completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in managing Production teams in a CNC precision environment.
• You must have sound working knowledge of overseeing production workflows, preparing work and shift schedules, maintaining HSE within the facility, as well as ensure quality specification products and ensure effective maintenance on machinery is carried out
• You will also have an understanding of logistics to ensure stock efficiency to production.
• You will be solidly proficient on using MS Office and be efficient in terms of administration management and reporting for management
• You must have a valid driver’s license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
