SUMMARY:
Our Blackheath based client is looking for a bi-lingual (Eng / Afr) Production Foreman with a National Diploma or Degree to take full control of production at their manufacturing facility.

DUTIES:

Manage and control production processes and output
Ensure production volumes, quality standards and cost targets are achieved
Implement initiatives to achieve and maintain world-class standards for production, quality and SHE management
Drive the implementation of processes for new products
Oversee the management and control of the production store function
Take ownership of planning, budgeting, costing and capex responsibilities
Manage, direct and monitor the performance of subordinates to ensure that critical performance areas and targets are achieved

REQUIREMENTS:

NTC qualification / National Diploma / Degree
3 - 5 years’ experience in maintenance, technical, production, boiler making, mechanical or manufacturing
2 years’ experience managing and supervising ± 15 persons
Experience in printing, fiberglass, welding and general metal processing / manufacturing
Good working knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO), OSH Act, BCE Act and plant maintenance (non-negotiable)
MS Office (non-negotiable)
Bi-lingual (Eng / Afr)
Valid driver’s license

HOURS:

08:00 – 16:30 (Mon – Thurs)
07:00 – 15:30 (Fri)
