Production Foreman

SUMMARY:
Production / Shift Foreman - Western Cape - George, Garden Route

POSITION INFO:
A well established Company based in the Garden Route, George is looking for a Production / Shift Foreman to join their team.


In addition to the above, this position also requires the successful candidate to:
 Act as sales representative, visit customers regularly and do market research (half day)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and control of production line
• Control of production and quality of products on production line
• Supervise production equipment and the maintenance staff in a timely manner
• Report and manage any defects and problems with equipment
• Management of staff on shift
• Issue and receive products from drivers
• Receive and record all supplies and orders
• Administration of all stock on shift
• Ensure that production area is kept clean and tidy
• Market research
• Visit customers
• Sales representative and sourcing of new business

Requirements:

• A relevant technical or marketing diploma will be an added benefit
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans 
• Must have good analytical and mathematical skills
• Willing to work overtime and shifts (including nights and weekends)
• Good leadership / managing skills
• Minimum 2 years experience in a Production / Shift Foreman or similar position

Salary:
R12k - R15k (Negotiable depending on experience)
