SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting for a Production Foreman for a mine based in Brits (North West).

POSITION INFO:
Experience & Qualification:

Grade 12.
Diploma or Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
5-7years related experience in a Metallurgical Environment of which at least 3 years must have been at a leadership role.
Valid driver’s license.
Own transport to attend to call outs.
Medical requirements:
Good general health AND requires a certificate of fitness (red ticket)

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties for the position are as follows:
Meet production targets, reduce costs & manage performance of direct production staff.
Process monitoring, control, optimisation and manage process recipe.
Effective supervision of subordinates (Attendance & Wellness).
Perform inspections in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act regulations and ensure compliance. Will hold 2.9.2 appointment.
Ensure adherence to Process standards and Procedures.
Coordinate and monitor equipment availability and ensure continuous effective communication with relevant stakeholders to minimise production delays.
Identify key performance shortfalls, gaps, and critical improvement areas.
Coordinate training and development of team members
