POSITION INFO:
Our client, a leader in the food and beverage manufacturing sector, seeks to employ a high energy, experienced and qualified candidate, who has solid knowledge of short shelf-life manufacturing principles and processes, to join their shift production team.
Please note that only candidates who have experience in the food manufacturing sector will be considered and preference will be given to to those who have experience in short shelf-life production and the dairy product processing industry
You must be able to work independently and accurately keep records and be proactive in your approach to ensuring the profitability of the company.
- You will have completed a Diploma in Food Technology, Engineering or Production Management, coupled with 3-5 years experience in managing a productive and progressive production shift
- You will have proven experience in leading teams to achieve high performance and targets, implement Lean and World Class Manufacturing principles, control maintenance/equipment, be au fait with FFSC22000 and HACCP processes and procedures, waste management and adherence to food safety practices.
- You will have excellent communication skills, above average reporting and administration skills and be a natural leader
- You must be willing to work on a continental shift basis
- You must have a valid driver’s license, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
