Production Coordinator

SUMMARY:
A well-established and busy Clothing Supplier (local manufacture) is seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join their team, based in Kloof.

POSITION INFO:

Role and Responsibilities

• Updating and controlling the production tracking report on Sync.
• Managing and monitoring leadtimes by ensuring all pre-production requirements are ready on time and full style/order production pack is handed over to Newcastle on time for production.
• Gathering updates from QA, production team, sample room, co-ordinators, fabric buyer on daily basis.
• Ensuring Sync is being accurately updated by Production team and processes are being followed.
• Checking PPOs on sync and ensuring info is captured accurately and in full.
• Creating reports for visibility to plan production accordingly.
• Liaising with Newcastle on production problems or any foreseen challenges that might affect orders.
• Facilitating the communication between the Kloof and Newcastle teams.

Required Skills

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role in clothing.
• Relevant experience in clothing production (local manufacturing).
• Excellent understanding of leadtimes and deadlines for production approvals and processes.
• Proficiency in Sync is a must.
• Process driven and accurate.
• Strong admin skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Good time management skills.
