Production Controller

SUMMARY:

Amanzimtoti. National Diploma in Production Management, Operations Management or Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years work experience within a manufacturing environment in the FMCG industry is required for outstanding career growth opportunity with this innovative and market leading manufacturers of personal care products. POSITION INFO:

Working closely with Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving and implementing projects as well as assisting with building reports and collecting data.

Manage the production performance processes to ensure daily targets, manufacturing KPI’s, quality standards, OEE and business objectives are met. Monitor production labour costs and prepare production reports. Manage equipment / assets, processes, and procedures.

Requirements:

• Minimum C pass for Core Mathematics in Matric
• At least 3 years work experience within a manufacturing environment within the FMCG industry
• Proven technical capabilities and knowledge
• Own transport essential
• Must be willing to work shift work (night shift on a rotational basis)
• Diploma in Production Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering (or similar)
• Basic HR / IR knowledge
• OSH Act and Quality Management knowledge and experience
• Intermediate computer skills
• Experience within a GMP environment advantageous
• Proven experience with sustainability and cost saving initiatives advantageous
