POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
The main role will be as a Product Specialist (80%), with additional responsibilities in Area and Account Management (20%).
Product Specialist:
Provide assistance for software products, both on-site and remotely
Interact with external customers through phone inquiries and visits
Collaborate internally with colleagues and the Development Department
Manage helpdesk operations, including call logging, follow-up, and timesheet completion
Conducting tests on completed client calls or queries
Offer spontaneous training sessions on software usage and the latest features
Area & Account Manager
Surpass monthly sales goals
Oversee debtor aging while adhering to predetermined limits
Strive to comprehend the customer's business and nurture enduring customer relationships
Provide timely sales forecasts and activity reports
Maintain awareness of market conditions and competitors
Skills & Experience:
Three years of experience in implementing and supporting software solutions within the logistics industry
Experience with Microsoft SQL (MS SQL)
Proficient in computer usage and possessing technical expertise in IT
Driver's license in good standing
Required to consistently meet specified deadlines
Two years of experience in account management and sales, specifically in the field of software sales
Outstanding communication abilities in both Afrikaans and English
Exceptional interpersonal skills, effective at all levels
Effective administrative skills with a keen eye for detail
Capable of performing efficiently and effectively in high-pressure situations
Capable of working autonomously without the need for direct supervision
Required to have the ability to undertake travel
Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or proven experience-based equivalent
