Product Engineer (CBX)

SUMMARY:
We require a Product Engineer (CBX) to work remotely in South Africa for a contract role.

POSITION INFO:

The role of the Product Engineer encompasses many activities including (but not limited to):

• Design, implement and deliver high quality applications in accordance with the agreed scope, cost, and timeline.
• Understand a product’s functionalities and its users.
• Analyze business requirements.
• Able to distil information into high-level understanding to build great products.
• Aware of technical and resource constraints of a product.
• Alert to technical opportunities that can improve a product.
• Size engineering effort based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Able to work cross-functionally with designers, solution architects, product owners, data scientists, and business.
• Strong project execution with a pragmatic focus on Return on Investments (ROI).

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate / Postgraduate in related degree of Engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of a product lifecycle management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing, configuring and maintaining products.
• Hands on experience in Intellect’s Transaction Banking and Channel Banking (CBX) products.
• Technical:
• Good understanding of Intellect’s Channel Banking (CBX) products Architecture and configurations.
• Detailed implementation knowledge of the CBX product, Performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in Java, Oracle, and Spring Boot technologies with Micro services architecture.
• Knowledge in Event Driven Architecture, Batch Processing and Message Queues like Kafka.
• Cloud design patterns and their implementation.
• Well versed with CI/CD principles, DevOps, involved in solving, troubleshooting issues in distributed services ecosystem.
• Hands on experience in debugging and monitoring tools.
• Functional:
• Deep domain knowledge of corporate banking including Payments, Collections & Receivables and Liquidity Management.
• Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices.
• Knowledge of Intellect’s Transaction Banking and Channel Banking (CBX) products will be preferred though not mandatory:

a)    Intellect CBX

b)    Intellect PPP – Cash Core

c)    Intellect Collections and Receivables

d)    Intellect Liquidity
