POSITION INFO:

Product Designer required by a rapidly growing, quality driven software house based in the North.

Your new role …
You''ll be joining a team of designers, where you will be involved in the end to end process - design to live! You will help shape the solutions that deliver the best possible outcome for the client. You will develop plans for site architecture and content being able to translate your beautiful and brilliant ideas into beautiful and brilliant concepts.
You will be communicating your vision, and the rationale behind it, both internally to the team and externally to the client so communication should definitely be one of your strong points. You will work closely with the dev team to ensure design to implementation is a smooth process and you will underpin it all by ensuring all the relevant documentation is in place for handovers.
You …
Obviously, you will be a Product Designer with previous experience working in an agency environment or have been hands on with multiple projects as part of an in-house design team. You should be used to large scale projects and have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
You should be familiar with design techniques such as wireframing, sketching and prototyping and have experience with any of the following design Software - Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, Adobe Suit or Keynote.
Aside from that, you should have a good attitude, professional manner and have a proven track record of planning, time management and meeting deadlines.

Your new company …

With a strong market position and after a recent acquisition, this international software house hold quality in the highest regard spending thousands every year investing in their people, having more MVPs working under their brand than anyone else in the UK, which means you will literally be learning from the best.

You will be given every opportunity to learn, not only from your new work family, with them offering a personal training budget which you can put towards your own certification.

Salary & location …

The salary is pretty flexible for the right person, but that doesn''t help you, so roughly speaking anything between £32,000 - £45,000, but the right person might be slightly more expensive but ticking every box.

Location - well, from home just now. Going forward, this role will be remote with the occasional commute to their Manchester or Leeds office- whichever suits!

Get in touch with Danielle Carter from Cathcart Associates for a more in-depth discussion on the role and company.
