SUMMARY:
Raizcorp is looking for a very skilled and experienced product analyst/ manager who will be responsible for the full lifecycle of all products and programmes within the Raizcorp group of companies.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for someone with four to five years of experience in product design or product management, preferably within the FMCG or software product management environments. You should have a strong understanding of business strategy and business finance with a B.Com degree or higher. What does a product manager do?

The Raizcorp product manager will work on the development of new products, the codification of new products, the communication of new products to various stakeholders, the pricing and price management of new products, the modification of new products and the shelving of new and existing products. The product manager is also responsible for the maintenance of all existing products to ensure that these products are fully and accurately codified. Some of the other functions of the role include:

Building sophisticated business cases in excel for any new products (ensuring break-even analysis in terms of volume required is understood by the business)
Understanding market conditions and competitor products, pricing and comparatives
Designing the performance metrics and monitoring process for each product

What kind of personality will excel in this role?

We’re looking for strong business strategy and finance experience. You’ll be someone who deeply loves and understands business and entrepreneurship. You need to be an intellectual with a strong numbers orientation while having the ability to be empathetic to the user experience. This means having the ability to communicate complex concepts simply and clearly to a variety of audiences.

What are the minimum requirements?

B.Com or similar degree is non-negotiable
Masters-level qualification or MBA would be an advantage
A minimum of four to five years experience in product design or product management
FMCG software product management experience an advantage
Strong understanding of business strategy and finance
Excellent written and spoken communication
Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
Strong business acumen
Strong project management experience
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Intermediate or advanced level Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required
Own vehicle with valid drivers license essential
