Procurement and Accounts Payable Administrator- CAPE TOWN

HYBRID WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The incumbent of this hybrid role will provide financial & procurement administrative support to the S.A. office of a multi-national Financial Services group. Excellent opportunity to help grow a local procurement function, exposure to multiple currencies, and being part of a small, high-performing team.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience in vendor management administration (incl. IT vendors)
• Experience with international courier documentation
• Significant purchase ledger experience is essential
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX and Navone systems is preferred
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills – Pivot tables, Power Query, Power BI an advantage
• Experience working with ERP systems, SAP Concur, Microsoft AX and Laser fiche Document Management system advantageous
• Experience in working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM to manage vendor communications
• French, German and/or Hebrew language skills would be an advantage

PRINCIPAL ELEMENTS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Managing administration of the procurement process – management of purchase orders, invoices, authorisation and payments
• Sourcing & on boarding suppliers – the vendor application process
• Creating and monitoring procurement budgets
• Understanding contracts, manage terms of contracts , contracts register , buying policies
• Input towards improving the process, and building the procure to pay process
• Assisting and maintaining the purchase ledgers of the Group operating entities, including posting invoices, staff expense forms, liaising with department heads and creating payment runs
• Various monthly reconciliation of purchase ledgers
• Assisting the Financial Accounting team with daily and monthly transactions and ledger reconciliations as required
• Provide cover in the absence of Group Finance colleagues
