Procurement Transactional Buyer

Primary Responsibilities

  • iProc (Oracle) Coordination
  • Indirect purchases (non-catalogue) allocation
  • Open orders status report and follow-up
  • Procurement Analytics

Specific Responsibilities

  • iProc (Oracle) Coordination
    • Coordinate all procurement related iProc transactions (requisitions, amendments, etc…)
    • Convert purchase requisitions in to purchase orders
      • Approving requisitions
      • Challenge non-compliant requisitions
      • Point of contact for administrators on existing transactions
  • Indirect purchases (non-catalogue) allocation
    • Allocate indirect purchase requests to Procurement Specialists
    • Communicate on status of requests and send negotiated quotations to requesters
    • Open orders status report and follow-up
      • Communicate with administrators on long standing open orders
      • Send weekly reports on open purchase orders
      • Report justifications and statuses
  • Closing purchase orders
    • Finding resolution to problematic transactions with Business and Finance

  • iProc – PR to PO conversion rights

  • Tertiary Qualification (preferred)

Experience

  • Procurement
