SUMMARY:
My client based in Johannesburg is urgently looking for a Procurement Supervisor to join their branch to build relations with vendors/suppliers and negotiate best prices as well as understanding the target marketing and analyzing trends in order to make informed buying decision.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Matric
Degree / Diploma in Purchasing or Supply chain
3-5 years relevant procurement administration experience
Must be able to lead a team
Sage experience is non-negotiable and essential

Job description

Researching, selecting and purchasing quality products and services
Review existing and new contract with suppliers
Evaluation of procurement proposals which include Bids, EOI and RFP and quotes
Maintain an achieve BBBEE spend targets
Ensuring that administration process of procurement is adhered to
Process requisitions and updating management on the status of orders
