SUMMARY:
My client based in Johannesburg is urgently looking for a Procurement Supervisor to join their branch to build relations with vendors/suppliers and negotiate best prices as well as understanding the target marketing and analyzing trends in order to make informed buying decision.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Matric
  • Degree / Diploma in Purchasing or Supply chain
  • 3-5 years relevant procurement administration experience
  • Must be able to lead a team 
  • Sage experience is non-negotiable and essential

 

Job description

  • Researching, selecting and purchasing quality products and services
  • Review existing and new contract with suppliers 
  • Evaluation of procurement proposals which include Bids, EOI and RFP and quotes
  • Maintain an achieve BBBEE spend targets
  • Ensuring that administration process of procurement is adhered to
  • Process requisitions and updating management on the status of orders
