SUMMARY:
One of our clients in the FMCG space is looking to hire an experienced Procurement Specialist. The successful incumbent will be responsible for Sourcing development and drive the Point-of-Sale item in line with the brand plans. POSITION INFO:

The Ideal Candidate

Must have a minimum of +- 5 years in Procurement, preferably must come from the FMCG space.
Must have experience in Production and Risk Management.
Must have proven Purchasing experience.

Duties include:

Manage Product Category life cycle and support for country.
Develop Procurement Strategy & long term & short-term plan for country product category or budget, expense.
Design and implement go to market strategies for new products.
Comprehensive competitor analysis and action plan
Product life cycle management.
Pricing Strategy & monthly update confirm price policy.
Create local launch plan for all new product launches.
Promotion planning and sell out.
Track forecasts sell In, sell trough, sell out, market channel Info and actions with online business.
Source and develop innovative point of sale and trading items in line with brand plans and commercial initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification – BCom in Procurement or any related qualification.
