Join my client based in JHB looking for a Procurement Representative / Officer to negotiate contracts, recommendations on new products, liaise and evaluate vendor performance.

POSITION INFO:

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Matric
Degree in Supply Chain and other related qualification
5- 10 years’ experience pharmaceutical or Manufacturing industry
Must have experience in the TDC Sourcing process
Must have done procurement spend of over R 900 - 1 million a month
Procurement of bulk raw material and production equipment is a must
SAP or Oracle System is essential

Job description

Develop and maintain productive supplier relationship
Identify alternative suppliers or alternate material
Business process management
Project management
Prepare and negotiate contracts
Increase contract coverage to reach 80%
