JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Client, within the Construction Industry, based in Rosebank is seeking a Procurement Officer.

Role: • Support Operational Requirements in Ghana • Manage the Procurement Process and supply base efficiently and effectively • Develop strong relationships with other functional groups • Support organizational goals and objectives

Key Skills: • 2+ years of experience as a procurement officer or in a similar position • Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred. • Great relationship management • Analytical and strategic thinking skills • Strong negotiation skills • Impeccable time management • Ability to adapt to change • Strong math skills and budgeting abilities • Knowledge of the Construction industry and materials to understand the overall picture

Responsibilities: • Evaluating suppliers, products and services • Negotiating contracts • Ensuring approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality

Working Hours: 08:00am to 17:00pm, Monday through Friday

Salary: R25 - R30k per month (NO BENEFITS)
