Procurement Officer (Sourcing) - 12 month fixed term contract

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Procurement Officer to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Education: 

• Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management

Experience: 

• 5 years in Purchasing, with 1-2 years in Chemical Environment
• SAP Experience Essential

Responsibilities: 

• Supplier Relationship Management - Developing, managing and maintaining a positive supplier relationship
• Total Cost Management  - Effectively reviewing and assessing the value propositions to ensure optimal return
• Procurement Planning - Ensuring effective alignment between Purchasing and Planning to meet customer requirements
• Continuous Improvement and Project Management - Participation in Continuous Improvement and Projects for the department
• SHERQ management - Maintaining and improving SHEQ performance within the department
