SUMMARY:
Procurement Manager My client in Centurion is looking to appoint a procurement manager to join this fresh fruit and vegetable packaging company. Salary between R30K and R40K per month

POSITION INFO:

The Procurement Manager will work in the commercial team and is primarily responsible for the end-to-end product management for specific product categories. Will be responsible for the management of the daily procurement activities from planning, buying, assessing quality and pricing of the products.

Minimum requirements:

Must have a degree in agriculture, supply chain or logistics
Must have proven ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets, Excel pivot tables and business intelligence reporting
AVCASA and FERTASA
Must be fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English and be willing to travel to farmers
Implement appropriate SLA''s to properly evaluate the performance of suppliers
Supplier visits and monitoring of crop growth cycles
Develop procurement strategies and formulate growing programs
Control and monitor expenses against approved budgets
Monitor delivery times
Administration, pricing and reporting
Benchmarking availability, quality and prices weekly on the national markets
