SUMMARY:
Our client in the Chemicals industry, has an opportunity available for a Procurement Clerk to be based in the Cato Ridge, KZN area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Grade 12
2 years’ experience within a similar role
Highly systematic, organised and accurate record keeping

Duties:

Sourcing new suppliers
Updating and reporting on pending indents
Updating and reporting on pending purchase orders
Monitoring of prices and usage of consumables and advising responsible persons
Conducting supplier audits
Monthly Kaizen submissions
Invoice check and submission to accounts
Freight forwarder documentation (checking, sign-off & submission)
