Pricing Specialist

SUMMARY:
My Client a leader in the financial services industry, are looking for a Pricing Specialist.

POSITION INFO:

The Pricing Specialist provides statistical analyses of rate tables and pricing models for all asset types.

The incumbent identifies all operational risks associated with vehicle assets and provides asset performance reports, statistical analysis and proposes solutions to business to minimize risk.

The incumbent provides and assists Sales.

The incumbent provides innovative solutions incorporating changes in technology.

Description

Financial Processing: Produces or reviews cost reports to make sure they accurately reflect work activity.

Ensures financial documentation is maintained to support accurate record keeping and future requirements as per legislation.

Escalates potential risks that may lead to increased costs or financial losses.

Presents work proposals on planned activities that will require financial resources.

Identifies key pricing and operational risks within the business.

Monitors risks on vehicles based on initial estimates.

Provides counter measures to mitigate risks.

Authorises quotations outside the system parameters.

Conducts market research for the development and maintenance of residual value and maintenance rate tables.

Maintains and where applicable, develops new maintenance rates and residual value tables for all makes of vehicles and specified assets.

Develops and maintains accessory maintenance tables and maintains system

Profile

Experience/Requirements:

Minimum Qualification B. Comm Degree in Risk, Financial Management, or Econometrics/ B.Sc. Financial Mathematics, B.Comm Computer Science or Mathematics or Statistics or any relevant degree

Experience Required Minimum five years in sales in the financial services industry. Experience in credit granting and commercial property finance an advantage.
