Minimum Requirements:

-Presentable and reliable Afrikaans speaking male aged 30 – 50 years

-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must

-Matric / Grade 12

-Red Seal Electrician qualification obtained

-Electrician apprenticeship completed

-Approximately 5 years recent working experience as an Electrician a must

-Minimum 5 years experience in wiring and electrical repairs on residential properties

-Minimum 2 years experience in solar panel installations and connections

-Experienced in installation, maintenance and repairs of electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems a must

-Experience in field working on simple and complex electrical systems

-Good knowledge of Electrical Fences and various test equipment

-Valid driver’s license and own transport to work (use of company vehicle during work hours)

-Hands on and hard working (not a supervisory role)

-3 months probation period will apply during which skills will be assessed

-Stable employment record and contactable references a must

-To start as soon as possible

Duties:

-Installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from technical blueprints.

-Installation, maintenance and repairs of electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems
-Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
-Perform general electrical maintenance.
-Inspect circuit breakers and other electrical components.
-Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
-Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
-Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
-Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.

-Solar Systems installations
Salary: R 18 000.00 – R 20 000.00 gross maximum + commission on any sales generated
