My clients based in the South of Johannesburg has over two decades experience in the manufacturing of metal products and components. They are focused on custom built products, components and the assembly thereof. They focus on automotive appliance industry, telecoms equipment and other components to name a few. They have an opportunity available for a Tool and Die maker with Metal Press experience to join their ever growing team.

Education:

Tool and Die maker Trade Certificate

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5-10 years’ experience within a metal press workshop.
Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Utilize hand and machine tools to assemble parts of tools and dies and to repair and modify gauges, jigs and dies.
Design templates and jigs to be used and work aids for fabrication of products
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools, manually operated dies and progressive tooling.
