Premium Showroom Sales Consultant

SUMMARY:
An established premium lifestyle and interiors business is seeking a polished and customer-focused Premium Showroom Sales Consultant to join its Durban team. The role is suited to an experienced retail sales professional who enjoys consultative selling, working with design-led products and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

POSITION INFO:
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with experience in premium or luxury retail, furniture, homeware, décor, interior design or another high-end customer-facing environment.
The successful candidate will work within a beautifully presented showroom environment, assisting customers with product selection, providing knowledgeable advice and developing long-term client relationships. The role combines sales with responsibility for maintaining showroom standards, merchandising, product presentation and supporting the day-to-day operation of the showroom.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Drive individual sales performance and consistently work towards monthly targets.
• Develop strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat business.
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary products where appropriate.
• Maintain excellent product knowledge and confidently present product ranges to customers.
• Assist with quotations, orders, customer queries and after-sales follow-up.
• Maintain high visual merchandising and showroom presentation standards.
• Assist with stock, product displays, pricing and general showroom operations.
• Support the coordination of customer collections and deliveries where required.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information.
• Contribute to a polished, professional and service-driven showroom environment.

• Matric / National Senior Certificate.
• Minimum 2 years' sales experience within a retail environment.
• Experience within premium/luxury retail, furniture, décor, homeware or interior design would be highly advantageous.
• Strong consultative selling and customer service ability.
• Good eye for presentation, styling and detail.
• Comfortable working towards sales targets.
• Professional presentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to work every second Saturday.
