PreOwned Vehicle Sales Executive

POSITION INFO:

To drive the sales of pre-owned vehicles by delivering an exceptional customer experience, identifying customer needs, presenting suitable vehicle options, and ensuring a smooth sales process from enquiry to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers in the showroom and on digital platforms.

• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate pre-owned vehicles.

• Conduct test drives and vehicle demonstrations.

• Negotiate terms of sale and close deals in line with company policies.

• Maintain detailed knowledge of inventory, including vehicle specifications, features, pricing, and history.

• Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to encourage repeat and referral business.

• Follow up on leads and inquiries generated through walk-ins, referrals, and digital channels.

• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Assist in maintaining the display of vehicles and the showroom’s professional appearance.

• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge.

Person Specification: Education and Qualifications:

• Matric Certificate (minimum requirement)

• Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business (advantageous)

• Valid driver’s license

Experience:

• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the motor industry

• Experience in selling pre-owned vehicles is highly advantageous

• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
