Pre-Auth Service Agent

POSITION INFO:

Our client based in Rustenburg is looking for an experienced Pre-Auth Service Agent.

Role purpose:

To effectively contribute to the Pre Authorisation team, ensuring that the KPI''s and SLA''s are met and that all visits and in-room procedures are authorised according to protocol.

Duties:

• Pre-authorisation of specialist visits, specialised radiology, medical appliances and oxygen according to protocols
• All authorisations need to be completed within SLA
• Accurate and comprehensive note keeping on system
• Report analysis
• Enhance member experience by providing exceptional customer service and upholidng of SLA''s

Experience and Qualifications:

• Matric/Grade 12 with Biology as a subject
• Relevant tertiary qualification such as a BA in Psychology, BSC etc
• Excellent understanding of the medical scheme industry
• Good computer skills
• Relevant experience in a call centre environment
• Exposure to claims and ICD-10 coding an advantage
