SUMMARY:
My client is seeking for a self-driven Business Intelligence Developer (Power BI) for their BI division. The successful candidate must be ambitious, as this is a work-life balance opportunity.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Relevant Microsoft Certifications is a must have.
Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or relevant.
2-3 Years’ experience developing Power BI dashboards (visualisation, DAX, M).
3-5 Years’ data modelling experience.
3-5 Years’ T-SQL development experience.
SSIS, SSRS and SSAS development experience

Job description:
·         Implement advance programming techniques, in constructing complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting purposes.
·         Implement Power BI as an enterprise reporting solution.
·         Analyse business requirements and suggest the best technical solution for each given use case.
·         Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards.
·         Develop and maintain paginated reports.
·         Analyse and document all BI requirements.
·         Provide accurate technical documentation for all designs and development activities.
·         Support and assist users with all requests including adhoc data queries.
·         Develop and maintain SSIS solutions and packages.
·         Performance tuning of reports, SSIS packages, etc.
·         Must perform quality control testing of BI solutions before deploying to the production environment.
·         Must be able to analyse trends of monthly key performance indicator results to be able to improve and enhance performance concepts.
·         Must be able to train end users on Power BI Service.
·         Must ensure data integrity by following company or industry specific standards.
