Portfolio Reservations Manager

SUMMARY:
Portfolio Reservations Manager- KZN Country

POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for a capable candidate to oversee the reservations of 13 camps and lodges. Initially, while bookings are recovering the successful candidate will be required to perform a reservations duties on top of management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Reservations for at least three properties in the portfolio
• Compiling third party itineraries and quotes
• Quoting, confirming, and cancelling reservations in a timely manner
• Ensuring that weekly and monthly sales reports are sent to management and the camp owners
• Ensuring the camps receive their relevant rooming, operations and arrival and departure reports.
• Co-ordinate a weekly res (skype) meeting with team
• Following up on outstanding deposits timeously to ensure all bookings are confirmed
• Directing sales leads to the marketing director
• Ensuring the reservationists are actioning enquiries in a timeous manner
• The portfolio uses ResRequest Booking software therefore it is specific requirement that the candidate is experienced in using this software.
• Maintaining good relationships with travel agents / tour operators
• Booking Educationals and group Fam trips for agents and DMCs

Skills & Experience Required

• At least 3 – 5 years in a similar role
• Knowledge of Zambia and Zimbabwe would be beneficial
• Knowledge of ResRequest (non-negotiable)
• Tour operator experience is a must for this role
• Excellent attention to detail is a must for this role
• The candidate must have a friendly, positive attitude and good initiative.
• The candidate must have their own transport.
• If needs must, the candidate will be required to travel to the camps and lodges
