Portfolio Consultant

SUMMARY:
The group is on the lookout for a Personal Portfolio Consultant to join our growing and innovative team. This position requires the successful incumbent to achieve team goals and targets, including new applications, debt collection and the retention of existing members. This position will report to the Quality and Assurance Supervisor. This is a remote, work-from-home position. Candidates must be located and legally eligible to work in South Africa.

POSITION INFO:

New Members

-         assess and qualify new  members;

-         assess potential members’ needs and determine appropriate designations, where applicable;

-         conduct initial introductions;

-         implement membership sales strategies and actively sell new memberships, licenses and upskilling courses;

-         make recommendations regarding membership campaigns/initiatives;

-         maintain new membership database and collect statistics on new membership activity and rates;

-         provide a professional service to prospective members;

-         provide the Education Department with a list of courses required for applications in respect of the RPL process;

-         participate in membership service feedback programmes, distributing and collecting surveys and reporting membership feedback;

-         follow up discontinued memberships and actively collect information regarding the reasons for discontinuation;

-         use all marketing material provided to optimise a positive awareness of the benefits it offers prospective members.

-         Existing Members

-         Analyse and understand the members’ needs and recommend value add solutions;

-         Build relationships through constantly communicating with and educating the members on the benefits of using us;

-         Maintain and regularly and accurately update existing membership database;

-         Keep up to date with industry trends and upskill existing members on new and relevant information;

-         Provide service and support to members on any operational aspects relating to membership and designations;

-         Collection of membership fees;

-         Updating of members details on the membership system;

-         Issuing of membership certificates, recommendation and good-standing letters.

-         CPD & Other

-         Promote and sell CPD Packages, Licenses and other upskilling courses

-         Ensure that all activities relating to CPD compliance are logged on the system;

-         Ensure that members log CPD hours as per our requirements;

-         Assist members with any CPD and related queries;

-         Partners brand ambassador including Quickbooks, Draftworx, Taxshop etc.
