POSITION INFO:
Our client is seeking a Policy Officer to join their team.

Location: Cape Town CBD

Requirements:

1. A Degree (preferably in Economics or Business Administration)
2. Masters Degree Highly desired
3. 3 years of relevant work experience
4. Fluent in English (Spoken & Written Communication)
5. Proficient in working with social media, branding & marketing
6. Proven professional track record
7.  A high level of maturity
8. Likes working as part of a team
9. Has some affinity with cultural & political affairs
10. Has interest in the following sectors: Critical Raw Materials, Green Hydrogen, Digitalization, Cyber Security, Finance.

• Contributing to policy goals & results
• Strengthening the economic network & working with partners
• Contributing to the centralised Head Office’s goals
• Effective & timely support to companies, responding to trade-related & other queries
• Facilitation of incoming visits
• Identifying new opportunities inside & outside of the assigned sectors
• Archive all decisions and documents related to the core activities
• Assisting with other activities from time to time

• Fixed-term contract for one year – with option to extend.
• 37.5 hours per week
• Two months’ probation period.
