Purpose of Position:
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Qualified Assessor & Technical Trainer to assist in the Facilitation & Skills Gap for a Packaging company in the eThekwini, Durban Area for a 6 Month Project. Experience in a large, high pressurised environment essential. Position is based closed to Pietermaritzburg & Pinetown.
Requirements & Duties:
- Matric; SETA or related Assessor Qualification
- Experience in production & manufacturing, specially plastics, print &/or packaging industry
- Own transport
- Develop training plan for line Operators in consultation with HR
- To assist in addressing skills gaps identified for Line Operators
- To facilitate training for Line Operators
- Assess skill level of Line Operators
- Planning and preparing operator for assessment.
- Managing and conducting the assessment within acceptable frameworks or assessment standards by collecting evidence to substantiate the competency result of the operator.
- Assessing the evidence submitted by the operator and making a judgement on the competence in compliance with all requirements.
- Recording all information as required by the training framework
- Continuously reviewing and revising the assessment process in consultation with HR to improve it.
