Plastic Injection Mould Setter / Production Manager (Parklands) – Around R30K per month

Do you have at least 5 years’ Production Management experience including setting of injection moulding machines, looking for a change of scenery?

My client is looking for a qualified Plastic Injection Mould Setter / Production Manager to:

• Oversee the manufacturing processes within the factory and ensure that production lines run without problems and minimum downtime
• Set and maintain injection moulding machines and ensuring that they run effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure manufacturing processes are within agreed process parameters.
• Regularly monitor products to determine quality and adherence to specifications.
• Observe all safety and environmental procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are kept.
• Troubleshoot and finding solutions to problems with machines and ensuring maximum output.

You may be the successful candidate to join the Parklands factory team to exceed customer and management expectations if you have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in injection moulding process and setting.
• A formal qualification as a Setter.
• A secondary Qualification/Diploma in Plastic Processing.
• The personality attributes and technical skills typically associated with successful Production Managers / Plastic Injection Mould Setters.
• Your own reliable transport.
• The willingness and ability to work overtime on occasion and to be on standby on agreed upon times from time to time.
