SUMMARY:
Durban South - 12 Month Contract - Responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of a waste water plant and the related processes
POSITION INFO:
The duties include:
- Ensuring the efficient operation of the Waste Water process
- Planning and monitoring plant maintenance
- Ensuring all SHEQ standards and procedures are complied with
- Ensuring ISO 9001 quality standard requirements are complied with
- Ensuring relevant administration systems are maintained
- Supervising Plant employees
- Managing water and sludge production volumes and quality
- Managing plant costs
The successful candidate will have Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
B Tech or National Diploma in Process or Chemical Engineering and a relevant Operator Certificate in Water and Waste Treatment will be an advantage
