Plant Operator

SUMMARY:
Worcester based client is seeking a Registered Class III Process Controller with minimum 3 years experience in water treatment/Biogas Plants. Previous experience as a Lab Technician would be beneficial. Must have a valid driver's and Forklift Lisence.

POSITION INFO:
DUTIES: 

Housekeeping: 

• Maintaining clean buildings and equipment.
• Inspect and cleaning of collection pumps and strainers.
• Inspect and cleaning of process instrumentations.
• Chemical stacking and storage.

• Monitor, maintain, record and upkeep of all plant and equipement registers. (flow meter readings, chemical stock levels, pump hours and analytical instrument readings.
• Maintain and upkeep of logbooks.
• Record, monitor and interpret SCADA and control trends.

• Adhere to all SHE procedures in the company and legislation.
• Assist with incident investigations.
• Report incidents as per procedure.

• Adjust plant HMI and SCADA according to SOP and SWP.
• Manage and adjust flow based on demand.
• Operate control centre as per procedure (monitor SCADA, tank levels, report on alarms or failure)

• Report power failures, breakdownd and noise of equipment.
• Execute household first line Maintenance.
