JOB DESCRIPTION:

Plant Manager (Building Construction)
My client, an established, respected, and reputable Construction Company, based in the KZN. They are seeking to employ a Plant Manager to be responsible for managing and overseeing the effective repair and maintenance of all earthmoving equipment of the Company with the least disruption to the sites.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the key performance areas for this role includes the following:

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

Plant (Earthmoving Equipment) Strategy and Performance
Minimise fleet downtime to achieve maximum Site Support.
People Management.
Financial Management including budgets and cost controls
Total quality of maintenance function
Ensure compliance to Safety & Quality policies, procedures and standards.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

National Diploma/Degree –Mechanical Engineering

EXPERIENCE:

At least 20 years’ experience in the Mechanical field.
With at least 5 years in a Senior Management position.
Major exposure to the Civil Construction/Earthmoving environment.

Remuneration to be negotiated based on experience
