SUMMARY:
If spreadsheets don’t scare you and the idea of seeing your numbers come to life on-site excites you, this role is for you. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded Project Accountant to step into a dynamic mining environment where finance directly influences operational success.

POSITION INFO:
Our client is a globally respected equipment and mining solutions provider, operating at the forefront of large-scale mining projects. Based on-site at a mine, this role offers rare exposure to live projects, operational teams, and senior decision-makers.

You won’t be reporting from the sidelines you’ll be embedded in the action, partnering with project and engineering teams to ensure financial discipline, insight, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Own the full financial management of site-based projects
Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across multiple workstreams
Monthly reporting, variance analysis, and project performance reviews
Partner closely with project managers and operational leaders
Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance standards

Job Experience & Skills Required:

BCom in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent)
3–6 years’ experience in project or management accounting
Mining, construction, or engineering project exposure advantageous
Strong Excel and ERP system capability
Commercially astute, hands-on, and confident working on-site
