POSITION INFO:

Do your responsibilities include working with management, inventory, supply chain and sales teams in demand planning operations. Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation plans. Develop demand plan based on business trends and demand patterns

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the availability of stock through assisting demand planners
• Retail planning which is a combination of demand planning and store execution
• Liaising and building a relationship with the stores and clients
• Monitoring and understanding demand plan accuracy with the aim of minimizing inaccuracies and the impact thereof
• Driving weekly collaborative processes with Sales and Supply Chain
• Management of all demand metrics
• Planning with various stakeholders on replenishment schedule
• Managing of teams and ensuring all planning staff is working at optimal levels

 Requirements:

• STRICTLY BEng Degree (Industrial Engineering) OR BCom Honor’s Degree (Supply Chain/Logistics) / ADDED Business qualification would be an advantage
• 3 years Planning Management experience
• 3 years FMCG experience
• SAPICS / APICS or SCOR-s would be an advantage
• MIN 5-8 year experience within a Supply chain and Demand planning functions
• Knowledge of Advanced Excel
• MUST have knowledge of importing of final product Items
• Technically strong, analytical, strong negotiation and communication skills
• Global / International procurement and Market trend experience
• Proven cost savings and forecast accuracies
