SUMMARY:

A leading and trusted retail brand is looking for a dynamic Planning and Location Manager to join their team in the warm Coastal City of Durban. 



JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Oversee planners and planning function.
  • Manage, review, optimise season buy-plans and merchandise budgets.
  • Control the preparation and presentation of merchandise assortment analysis.
  • Maximise revenue, gross profit and manage aged stock and optimise stockturns.
  • Ensure planners OTB is in accordance with merchandise plans.
  • Optimise store allocations.
  • Ensure planners OTB is in accordance with merchandise plans.
  • Managing execution of merchandise allocation strategies to achieve balanced inventories by location.
  • Assess and take action to maximize sales and profit by location.
  • Responsible for developing and building "best practices" and innovative approaches for the Location Planning process.
