POSITION INFO:

Planner -Ship Repair - Marine -  KZN -  Market Related

Responsible to plan and schedule projects in the Ship Repair Division.

REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a ship repair environment will be an advantage
Proficient in MS Projects & Primavera
A mechanical engineering qualification will be an advantage
Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Advanced Spreadsheet skills

Duties include, but are not limited to: 
Interpret customers’ requirements and specifications, and draft project schedule accordingly
Collect and analyse all relevant information and maintain knowledge of all key project milestones
Generate forecasts and variance reports and ensure compliance with the project schedule
Generate Docking Schedules in accordance with the FWD Load Monitor project progress and variances
Collaborate with the project team to maintain project efficiency General administrative planning duties
