Piping Designer

SUMMARY:
Piping Designer (Contract) available in Fourways. Petrochemical experience is essential.

POSITION INFO:
Job Description:

• Under direct supervision, independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
• Interprets flow diagrams and prepares detailed isometric drawings for a specific project.
• Would be expected to operate the company’s CAD tools to complete plant layout and detail design models.
• Should be capable of producing plant layouts in non-complex areas from minimum information.
• Would be capable of reviewing other designers’ work for accuracy and completeness.
• Modifies plans to suit client and engineers changes.
• Be able to perform site measurements and verifications, with the ability to identify piping equipment on site.
• Must have experience from petrochemical industry.

• Software: MicroStation, E3D / PDMS or similar.
• Experience in the petrochemical industry and/or construction.

• Essential: Diploma with 3 to 7 years of related experience (Mechanical and Piping)
