SUMMARY:
The Picnic Manager is responsible for all the daily operational activities of the business. It is an exclusive picnic experience requiring a team that is committed to consistent world class service and the ability to work smoothly under pressure.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

FIXED TERM: 24 October 2022 – 30 April 2022

Key Performance Areas include:

Supervising the Picnic team and monitoring their performance against agreed standards
Ensuring that a consistent world class standard of customer service is maintained
Ensuring that the food quality and presentation agreed standards are maintained
Picnic administration and controls including et al stock control, cash ups, waitron tip administration, staff rosters and payroll information processing
Assisting in the controlling of prepared budgets and implemented costings
Ensuring all Health & Safety & Environment policies and procedures are adhered to
Developing and maintaining relationships with guests, ensuring they feel welcome and that they return as often as possible
Working with the picnic reservations system
Understanding and owning the company brand and leading by example to instil a passion for food and wine into the staff on an ongoing basis

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Hospitality Diploma or equivalent
3+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory position
Excellent people, communication, and management skills
A strong sense and understanding of what constitutes world class service
A team player

The Picnic Site operates from Monday to Sunday for lunch service. The successful candidate, would as such, be required to work on a 5-day a week shift basis that includes weekends shifts.
