SUMMARY:

Our client in the Citrus industry is looking for a Pest Monitoring Manager to join their team in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Grade 12 (or equivalent)
Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture, with a focus on citrus (advantageous)
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in citrus pest and disease monitoring and/or Integrated Pest Management for citrus
In-depth knowledge of citrus pests and diseases, as well as their identification, monitoring, and control methods
Familiarity with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles and techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with farmers and agronomists
Ability to stay updated with the latest research and developments in citrus pest and disease management
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
