JOB DESCRIPTION:

Transport company based in Alrode is searching for a Personal Assistant to the Director.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or relevant Diploma/Certificate NQF 5 in Office Management
  • Computer literate in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
  • Bilingual - Afrikaans and English 
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar position
  • Excellent office skills in applying knowledge and skills independently
  • Above-average writing skills
  • Extremely organised 
  • Presentable and well-spoken in Afrikaans and English

Duties: 

  • Answer, screen, and return phone calls and messages on behalf of the director  
  • Daily planning and dairy management 
  • Maintain business files and develop systems
  • Daily e-mail-based updates on the status of critical priorities, successes, and key activities
  • Client periodic performance surveys
  • Purchase office supplies 
  • Taking minutes in meetings 
  • Type all correspondence relevant to the office
  • Receives and communicates with visitors
  • Other duties as directed by the Director
