SUMMARY:
Export Manager to manage the airfreight export process (perishables) and ensure compliance with local and foreign legislation and regulations - Cape Town

Qualification

• Matric
• CargoWise experience advantageous

Requirments

• 10 years industry experience within a clearing and forwarding environment of which at least 5 years is in airfreight perishable export.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in perishables is critical.
• Experience in airline rate negotiation.

Duties

• Ensure the administration functions are optimised to meet the required lead time
• Arranging bookings and forwarding on booking confirmations
• Timeous delivery of cargo to airline
• Communication to all parties, including client before departure
• Tracking details to be obtained & forwarded to client until destination
• Accurate costings
• Invoicing and closing of files and final quality checks
  Monthly reporting
• Address any potential concerns with the exports team
• Controlling, checking and timeous invoicing and payment
