POSITION INFO:

Permanent position for a Payroll Manager to start as soon as possible in Cape Town.

Relevant payroll qualification
• Minimum of 5 years payroll experience on VIP Payroll
• Experience in administering and managing the full payroll function, including salaries, leave, and benefits
• Understanding of PAYE and SARS requirements
• Be fully familiar with the requirements of the BCEA, EE, SDLA, Income Tax Act, COIDA and other relevant legislation
• Excellent reporting skills
• Strong computer literacy, with advanced Excel skills essential
• Strong analytic, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Systematic, comprehensive, and displaying excellent attention to detail with strong administrative skills
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in more than one language advantageous
• Ability to work with large amounts of information in a systematic fashion under tight deadlines
• Outcomes-orientated, not simply task-orientated
• A strong commitment to the principles, policies and programme
• Willingness to go the extra mile, which may include working long and irregular hours
