A well-established national construction giant seeks an experienced and deadline driven Payroll Manager to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

A well-established national construction giant seeks an experienced and deadline driven Payroll Manager to join their finance team based in Johannesburg East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of the payroll function. Someone who likes to get hands on when need be and who can motivate a team to achieve targets and deadlines.

This role will have 7 subordinates reporting into the successful incumbent.

Education:

Relevant payroll / HR qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

5 to 6 years'' experience in a supervisory or management role is essential

Mining, construction or engineering industry experience is essential and a non-negotiable

Symplexity payroll system experience is an absolute must for this position

Experience with multiple payrolls, including hourly-paid wages and monthly-paid salaries

Foreign currency payroll experience

Ability to work under pressure

Meticulous attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
