POSITION INFO:

Supervise activities of payroll team and develop the team’s performance

Manage and resolve issues and queries relating to payroll

Administer benefit plans

Oversee compliance with statutory reporting requirements

Prepare and review payroll account reconciliations

Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner

Review and improve payroll policies and procedures

Oversee the maintenance and implementation of existing and new employee data systems

Compile data from payroll sources

Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with statutory requirements

Support all internal and external audits related to payroll

Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports

Skills & Experience:

Minimum of 3-6 year’s relevant experience

Experience using SAGE 300 (Non-negotiable)

Accountability

Retail or FMCG industry experience

Ability to delegate

Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma

Certified payroll practitioner
