Payroll Consultant

SUMMARY:
Our Client in the Insurance Sectoris looking for a Payroll Consultant

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
• Relevant tertiary qualification, a payroll qualification beneficial
• Sage 300 experience essential (at least 2 years with current work output)
• Weekly payroll processing
• Payroll control account recon experience (at least 2 years with current work output)
• Experience with creating new and terminate employees on Sage 300
• Facilitate payment to 3rd parties for group life and group retirement annuity schemes
• Familiar with Inputting monthly incentive scores, commission, variable travel allowances, overtime, standby and reimbursements (via CSV import into Sage 300)
• Create ESS logins and approve submissions (as administrator) received for reimbursement,
• Exporting monthly payment files from Sage 300 to banking platform
• Familiar in submitting monthly EMP returns on efiling
• Familiar with submitting monthly UIF declarations to the department of labour
• Familiar with submitting annual COID return
• Be able to complete validations in advance of annual easy file submission for IRP5’s (and six-monthly reconciliation)
• Have experience with analyzing payroll problems and provide appropriate solutions
• Be able to Run Sage 300 reports and complete weekly and monthly tasks by following a clearly defined Activity Work Instruction and checklist
• Experience with weekly and month-end information to share with Finance, by a specific deadline date, in line with a clearly defined Activity Work Instruction (Finance will post relevant journals on Pastel)
• Be able to Complete weekly and monthly payroll control account recons (Finance will post relevant journals on Pastel)
